The rundown
This will be a casual meet and greet on Friday, February 22 to get to know some of the other PHP/Symfony developers based in Perth. We can also gauge interest to see if there's an appetite for more events, either formal or informal, in the future! We'll make use of the barbecue facilities at Kings Park in the Pines Picnic Area (see the map below); sausage sizzle and soft drinks will be provided.
Should I bring anything?
Only yourself! This event is totally free. Just rock up between 5:30pm and 6:30pm and say g'day! We're having it Friday evening after work to give everyone in the CBD and surrounding areas enough time to get to Kings Park. There is plenty of free parking or alternatively the area is well serviced by Green CAT buses.
Do I need to be a Symfony expert?
Absolutely not! This is a social event and everyone is welcome no matter what your level of experience with PHP or Symfony is.
